What makes Juzo compression socks stand out
So many compression socks have been introduced in the market but only Juzo compression socks stood out. As an athlete, you must equip yourself with the rightful gear in order for your body not to be heavily injured with the strenuous sports activities.
What are compression socks? These socks are specially designed not just for athletes but for everyone who wants to improve their blood circulation. This is most important to athletes for several reasons. Since sports are strenuous activities, you can’t help overstretching your body especially the legs once you run along the court or field. Once the veins are damaged, the blood flow is already disturbed. Compression socks are made to support the legs during these activities for the blood flow and minimized swelling.
But how are Juzo compression socks different from other compression socks? Unlike other compression socks, Juzo compression socks have no latex material included. For those with sensitive skin, latex gives them allergies. Compression socks that have no latex included in their material are more durable. Latex rubber tends to easily wear off when exposed too much to sunlight, oils, and other chemicals we apply on our skin.
Instead of latex, Juzo compression socks are made of Lycra. In order to get more profit by tricking their buyers, other companies use low quality fiber called Spandex. Spandex, like latex, easily breaks off and crumbles when exposed to sunlight too much. Also, these low grade fibers are more irritable to put on because they are harder. Lycra, on the other hand, is a more durable material.
Juzo makes sure that they give you perfectly finished compression socks. If you experience a sticky feeling with other compression socks once you put them on or put your hand on them, it means that not all compression fibers are covered. When a compression sock’s compression fibers are not fully covered, they are more breakable and less comfortable. With Juzo, they make sure that before they distribute their compression socks to the market, the finished products have undergone each process properly. They not only cover the compression socks, the threads they use to cover it all are also soft which gives comfort to the wearer. This makes the compression fibers not stick to the skin.
Maintenance of the compression socks from Juzo is also easier than the others. If you noticed, most socks are advised to be hand-washed and have to be air-dried. With the compression socks of Juzo, you can simply dump them in your washing machine and spin it. You don’t need to worry if it is rainy season and you can’t have enough heat to dry them. Juzo compression socks can be dried even in low heat.
If you want to be fully comfortable and secure your legs when using compression socks, you have an option to apply silicone lotion, talcum and cornstarch powder before putting them on. Though this is not necessary, it sure does add comfort and ease when putting and wearing Juzo compression socks.
Great list! I’ll second Tyler’s memcont—we have one of the smaller blenders that allows you to mix and go so convenient! (Also, Tyler, congrats on a great marathon! Glad to see all the coverage here in the Lehigh Valley!)I see a recovery theme here, so there’s one thing I need to add: Trigger Point Therapy products! I’ve been using the ball for ages, and hope for a grid this year which will hopefully outlast our well used foam roller. Happy Holidays, all, and safe training!
